loading and playing the game works fine, no issues except the game stops if I try to restore a game/round that has been saved.
I get windows error message: scorchedc.exe has stopped working

all drivers/win7 have been updated

GPU is radeon 3800 series.

any ideas?

I believe this issue has been reported in the bug tracker and is fixed in the next updated release.

I am having this exact same problem.

I downloaded the most recent version of Scorched3D yesterday afternoon, 6/14/2011 @ 12:30PM EST; Scorched3D-43.2a.exe, 49,607kb

OS is Windows 7 64-bit, running on an Intel dual core processor, 2GB RAM.
The OS install was just a few months ago, but the computer has seldom been used until the last month. Using AVG-Free 2011 edition Anti-Virus

When a game is saved, it saves practically instantly.
When I select the Save / Load Game entry, and try to load a game, the program locks up.

I installed the game on a drive other than C: (H:)

Interestingly, with no game loaded, selecting a game to load displays a message to the right of the selection list something like "Save game" rather than "Load game"; there does not seem to be a provision to change the message from save to load.

The next version has it fixed, when its updated it will work.

No.. Usually when Gavin makes enough fixes he will realease.

Better to make pretty certain that the bug fixes didn't break something else than to open a big can of worms by releasing it too soon.

Hi Duck,welcome to scorch.

I play on a laptop with win7 64 bit with a duo core intel 2.2 and 4gb ram. Other than my dang graphics dumping when the islands get really green.......or some one throws a DH on me and screen gets overwhelmed.

Ive never had a need to save a game so I can't comment on that....but join us on line. We have big fun here.

Thanks for the invite - but I probably won't be participating in the server games; my Internet connection only beats a snail's pace two out of three times.
