Hey scorched guys, I just downloaded your game about two weeks ago and I just wanna say good job, its very high quality work you guys have done. Especially how easy to mod your game you guys have made it. A couple of buddies and i have been having alot of fun with this since we got it, and with a little guidance from your site i have figured out most of the basic xml modding for accessories. Ive pretty much bastardized your Apoc mod for our lan games and its definitely kept things interesting. I havent gotten a chance to check your servers out being as im in Iraq and we dont have the best internet available here, but i will when i get a chance. anyway to the point, we started out playing simultaneous and only just recently tried out the free round timed mode, which by the way is a lot more fun i think, and it occured to me that it would be nice if you could map weapons to keys. Ive looked around the net quite a bit as well as your forums and found nothing on this. So my question would be is it possible for me the client to set a key up for this with xml? Either way its something for you guys to consider, and ive seen similar things done in c++ for modded games like tribes so it shouldnt be too difficult. Anyway thanks for your time, and once again great job on the game its really a lot of fun.

If all you've seen for examples is the default and the packaged Apoc mod, then
you've only seen a small fraction of what Scorched3D is capable of.

Mapping weapons to keys would be futile in any other mod, since the
arsonels aren't limited to a handful or so.

Joining other Servers will auto-send the Mods directly to your PC to keep.
Don't feel limited by your Net situation, Once the mods are auto-downloaded,
the game itself only uses a tiny ammount of bandwidth. Even Dialup players
rarely see any slow-down.
