I want to know if its called cheating if you get left with 0 life. It happened to me several times and I hate being not dead and all I can do is sucide or skip a turn. Common, is this problem ever going to go way. I dont want to kill my self who knows what kind of stats I will be losing plus skipping turns and waiting for those taking tooooo long bots takes forever. I am tried of waiting and using my precious time deciding if I should stay like this or kill myself. Is there any way to solve this 0 life issue.

It's already been brought up as a concern and addressed in the code
for the next version in the works. the 0 life actually is something
more.. like 0.5 or something. Power is in count of 1000. HP are 100.
There's a bit of lee-way there. Next update will consider anything
less-than 1.0 as Dead.

I don't see how 0 life is any different than 1 life, or 2 life. You still have to skip turn.

Either skip every turn, or resign. Either way, you don't have to sit there.

I'm content with 0 life.
it gives me that much extra leeway to use batts.

Actually its sarcastically kind of funny staying there with 0 life and no batts and the bots dont aim at you the next turn and they just play around...Skipping turn is the key to wait and watch but what if I am last person to live besides another computer. Sometimes that computer is not even doing anything ... it cant even kill me for 2 or 3 annoying tuns...

For Example:

What happens when all 12 players shoot each other and well, they all have 0 to 3 life with no batts ...can you imagine how the people would tell each other to resign. The all came to play one round and they have to decide who wins and the other 11 have to resign ...its like you just give up and face public humiliation.

Its kind of a funny thought but Waxy what happens if you are in round where you dont have batts?

Its like one person wants to win and makes everyone injured and in the end takes his precious time killing them. How damn long would it take to accomplish that?

Anyway DB does resigning a round ...does it affect your rank in anyway?

No, resigning does not effect stats or rank. Well, it does effect your resign stat, but that's it.

There is no downside to 0 life. You are still alive. Just hope you can survive the round. Surviving the round gives you more money and more points. I'm sure you know that. Would you rather be dead? And if so, why? Just choose the "skip every turn" option or resign.

I've learned from many hours of playing that it is always better to live than to die in Scorched 3D.

The 0 life issue still exists even with the new version of scorch. I used laser on a bot and he still survived with 0 life.

I guess Thrax said if you use 1000 power, it will cause the bot's life to be zero but what happens if you use a different weapon and a different range. I want to show a picture but dont know how to put it on.

Anyway good luck with fixing this glitch.

0 health = 0-10 power...
1 health = 10 power, hence its poss to show 0 health, but it just means u have less than one.

Surely its not that hard to work out?

The current v41 uses the 1000 for it's health/power. If you see 0 health,
check your power at the time, it may be 2/1000 or the equivalent of 0.2HP

The intended correction for this in v42 is to clip off the decimal and
consider anything Less-Than 1.0 as Zero. This may cheat some players
of that 1/100 chance of survival, but either way.. someone's still whining.

Doesn't bother me which way it's done.

The number of times I'll die instead of having 0 health left, will be balanced with the number of people I'll kill that would otherwise have had 0 health.

"But how do you kill that has no life?"

Zombies can be killed by a bullet or sharp blow to the head. "Kill the brain, and you kill the ghoul".

Fire may also kill a zombie, but it is unclear as to how effective this is.
