The official Scorched3D game servers have been moved to the new dedicated server. Other than a change in IP address this move should be transparent to the players.

Note: the ip alias scorched3d.game-host.org has been updated to reflect the change.

Web site stats should now update in real-time rather than at nightly snapshots.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues.

I have to manually put in the IP in order to connect.

I can't see the servers nor connect to them by the addresses shown.
Are they been up or not?

FWIW I can ping the server IP addresses shown but can't connect to the port the S3D server is supposed to be listening on.

The server (machine) crashed last night about 4:00am. I've restarted the server, and updated some more firewall ports. Let me know if that fixes it.

All looks good from my end.

I set up a dedicated server on a Peer1 Network, I had a lot of unused traffic, so I decided to set it up.

It is on multiple OC48 uplinks, this machine is on a 10mbit port, so speeds should be top notch. Same network as YouTube. :D (This machine is in San Antonio, Texas)

The server is "66.135.34.215" and is listed as "Beginners - GrungeMedia.com Dedicated Server [27270]"

It would be great if someone could get me default settings for a beginner, tournament, and mod configuration so I can get a few running.

Please give feedback! :)
