Has this happened to anyone else?

While playing on Panther's Raptor Server using the Royal Shield as my defense. Many times if I'm hit with a Raptor Attack or Raptor Eggs, one will get stuck in my shield. It will stay there till the shield is completely depleted, then I'm dead.

Is this a flaw, or is it supposed to happen?
If it is a flaw, can it be fixed?
