I just went out of a game that ended with Utaker getting kicked and says "bye scorched".

I have played againts UTAKER many times. Never heard him complained about my nick nore I never seen him doing trubles.
That nick is easly gettting inside the "offensive nicks" list. It offensive not just to me.
Yes I know there is a bot with this name, but there is a difference bitween a human player that using this nick to a bot named Adolf. U put this nick to a bot cause its a bot..dumb computer..parody.

Also, no "Adolf" bots in the Officials servers...

I know the name is offensive to you Apache and for that matter all jewish people. However it is just a name, i've seen plenty of screen names of world Tyrans... IE...Bin Laden.... Sadam.....Mosulini.....Fidel and on and on. Im not saying its right but it is just a game.



Now to bring the topic up to the next level, i'm sure if you werent playing Utaker probably would never have changed his name. And in my opinon he did it to get you mad knowing your an admin and probably wanting to cause a scene with you which he did, and in my opinion thats taunting...which is not very nice and rather childish. I could maybe accept it if he used that name frequently but after checking his alises he never used it before.



In conclusion I think he owes you an apology. And if he keeps it up then a disciplinary action should be taken.

yes apache i am on ur side too..

i have been playing with utaker a few times lately and i am really surprised...

but we can not tolerate it. not with him not with other players is my believe..

I think I actualy was the one that was "less offensive".
All he had to do is change the nick....thats all...
The complain that he is offensive by my nick is rediculos (spelling..).
I have my nick for years..and played with Utaker lots of times. What was his problem to only change his nick. If he have had changed it, nothing would have been happening...
At least 2-3 other players complained about his nick (not including me in this amount).

FWIW: It doesn't seem to me that he "complained that your nick was offensive" - sounded more to like he was pointing out that it *could* be. None of us can possibly guess what may be offensive to antoher. If my ex-wife's name was "Mandy" I might find mandy's nick offensive to me, but would that make it wrong? Or what if your brother had died while riding a cbx550f? Would that make my name wrong? I'm not saying this is parallel with "Hitler" or anything, just wanted to point out that "offensive" is a VERY subjective thing.

To me, it was not offensive, but I realize that may not be the case for everyone.

personal i agree with a little bit of everyone

but playing for a little while now with utker he has never been like that when ive be online

agree total with cbx lots of things can be offensive to differant people and its very hard to please everyone in this world

agreed apache did ask nicely to change it but utaker i imagine was being wound up dont think winner helped either with his comments

the only thing i say realy is the past is the past and personaly for me its gone and over with

were in the 20th century and hey were all here having a bit of fun arent we cant we just be nice and get along together as a comunity and enjoy the wonders of scorched

Since all you have said about this, let me clarify one thing
I had my ther nick Hitler as I liked it, others did not like it, so what, there are many things others don't like. You might not like the name Osama, hell yeah, its a name which 100s of people still have, and might be my name too.
For those who found the nick offensive, don't you think the game is offensive, killing others. There are many other nicks that I found offensive, but I just never complained because it is a game. If anyone in a movie stars as a bad guy, should he be kicked out of the movie cuz he chose the bad guy character.
Another thing to point out is, what is offensive or not is a subjective and relative thing, not something that everyone will agree upon.
I found this kicking a very lame reason, neither did I comment about anyone elses nick before that game, and others should have done the same; and as some ppl here said to apologise, I DO NOT owe anyone any apology and anyone owing any apology is apache who kicked me for being like that and I had in the past in the older scorched3d sometimes use these aliases too.
I'm off since I found this attitude lame too. Don't want to spend time where admins are like that and I leave scorched3d world.
Is this a game where you play with barbies or shoot other players :) go figure

So if some new player comes along, apache, and he had some relatives that were killed by the apache indians some time ago, and he was offended by your nick, then would you change it?

If the answer is NO, then you owe utaker an apology.

Fact: CO2 = less than .04% (.00038) of the atmosphere - only a small fraction of that is man made.

I HAVE NO PROBLEM TO CHANGE MY NICK.
NO ONE..I MEAN NOT ANYONE TOLD ME EVER THAT MY NICK is offensive.
I had no problem to change it if any 1 in the last 2 years (or so) that I have been playing were told me to change my nick.
Also, Utaker, y did u remembered just now that my nick is offensive to u? I have been in games with u many times before. U never complained.
In addition, in my nick name I was refering to the Apache Hellicopter (not refering to the indian ppl. I was Apache mehcanic) ...which is comes for USA.....were the indians..

Lets say if few ppl comlain about an offensive nick of a player in the game.
I, (no matter if I was offended too or not) as admin, have to ask him to change his nick. If he had changed his name nothing would happened.


FROM NOW MY NICK will be LONGBOW..unless any1 offended is by an american helicopters.

I dont think anyone wants you to change your nick, you are overreacting, again.

his only point, I think, and mine and cbx too, is that a name is not reason to kick someone. It did not seem that he did anything out of line, and it seems to many that this was too severe. never once did he use bad language and never said that Hitler is even a good guy. He even said, he is the bad guy.

Games and History books and all sorts of places the name can be found. You cant avoid it, you cant go getting offended every time you see it

Yes, a few people dont like the name, but it seems personal this time,

I think, the only reason to kick some is for insulting, bad talk, or for disrupting the game. I dont think he did any of this.
