Yesterday, I got a little bored, and, decided to make the 'ambient' F-16 fighter(which looks amazingly good, BTW :( ) so, I added it into tanks.xml, put the file in the TANKS folder, got it to go ingame....

however, it doesnt move or behave like the other 'one peice' units(the Apaches, Hind, and the CF-104 fighter.) Instead, it just lays flat on the floor. I then enabled the F-18 and the T-38. Same problems. I have no clue with 3D programs, but, are there any fixed versions of these 3 planes? I also tried to enable the real good looking 'ambient' Apache helicopter, and that wouldn't work either. So, any 'playable' version of these vehicles, out there?

For the planes, you could just edit the .txt file, and rename the meshes so that they start with "gun" (ie: just add the prefix "gun" to the mesh names, and then they should move accordingly.
They may not rotate quite right without a "gunpivot" mesh being in place, but it should be better.
To be honest, I don't fully understand that page, but it sounds like it provides the answers you need. - Deathstryker

Oi. I got these three to rotate, which is very nice, but the Gun Pivot, I assume that is what makes sure they are in the selection circle? Because they are not, so the jets pretty much sink into the ground when pitching in any direction except 0,0. Pic is here. How would I get these right?

Also, is there a way to make the Helicopter models play a looping sound effect when ingame? like the apache1.wav sound so it sounds like the rotors are moving?
