if anyone wants to take on the task of updating and running raptormod, I still have a copy of it. it looks to be still set up for Scorched3d version 39.1.

Thrax has finished getting raptormod ready.

the true mark of a skilled player is the ability to adapt. If a player cannot adapt, then maybe that player wasn't all that skilled to begin with...

Great job on the update Thrax

We all hate to see a good mod go to waste...

Egad.. Can't have a good mod fade away!!

converting it to v40.1 shouldn't be tough, but i'm running out of
free port numbers to host servers on... not to mention the
grumpy looks from my wife every time she see's the task-bar.

I'll display it for a while, like i did for Jdog's beta, and host it's DL
for a while onto the Mods Page. After that, if someone want's to
setup a solid server for it...

if that's ok, i'll start on it tomorrow.

I don't know about hosting a sever, but it has a download home at the mods project.

Last version uploaded was for 39.1
Beware the VOID

When in doubt on why your mod broke...
it's all Bobirov's fault.

Well we cannot have that.... Thrax if you can get it ready good, but I'd rather not have you host it <wouldn't want to make the wife grumpy> .

Would anyone else care to host Raptormod?

Thrax can you not run the server as a service by using a windows service wrapper (like http://www.duodata.de/ntwrapper/ not tested by me). That way you wouldn't see them running.

yah... probably.. ;)
i have other tools that could hide them all to the sys-tray..
But i like to keep an eye on them and note thing's to repair that
the players find.

Raptormod converted to 40.1, sample server open for those
that remember it to give me feedback.
I believe i have them right, but open to comments.

Just those solo-mode xml's to make and some icons for
easy-med-hard modes.

Great Job Thrax!

I knew someone would come along who would do a better job with Raptormod than I did (and someone who will not be tempted to "unbalance" it like i did).

Raptor mod converted to V41.
Will start working on recoding it for efficiency next. A lot of the updates
will allow mods to be made smaller and more streamlined.

Won't start hosting the new version for a while yet, want to get some
of the other bugs cleared from the exe first before moving them all.
