Seirously, have read entirely that Mac installation sticky thread. Have successfully placed scorched3d into my /usr/local/games/scorched3d directories using the terminal. However, I keep getting this error message, "cannot execute binary file" in the terminal window. Any help? I'm running a Mac OS X 10.4.11

Stab in the dark as not a mac user at all, but am a linux user..

Have you changed permissions on the bin file to be executable?

Is it the dmg you have downloaded? Did you try running Scorched from within the DMG?
