is there some package I forgot to install?

I included the list gavin gave me of packages to install in fedora 17 to get scorched to compile or at least I thought I did. This happened on an otherwise fresh install of fedora 17 64 bit from live media with all of the updates.

My server is entirely down anyways. The new build I started two months ago sounds like a jet aircraft at takeoff. I am putting in some fans that will be a little more quiet. the rest of the parts aren't due to arrive until later this week or early next week.

thanks,

I have the fans in place now and the server is more quiet.

Any ideas as to why I am getting the missing glew.h error even with the glew dependencies installed from the repositories?

luckily I have a 32-bit backup of the server when it was on fedora 16. so, my server is running, but this does not solve the 64 bit glew.h issue.

all right, I've downloaded a fresh copy of the scorched3d source. glew.h is no longer failing. Scorched Still is not compiling even after the libpng patch. so. onto the next error....
