Ah.. That would explain why my existing compiler is now refusing to open the project.. You updated the compiler you were building with.
Hope my system can still run whatever microsoft is releasing this time.. My poor pc was hard-pressed already.
Edit: Figures.. Visual Studio 10 is trial only.. 90-days. I'll get it for now. But unless another option appears, i may be forced out of the developer business.. Lets hope it still runs on winxp.. or it's the end a lot sooner..
Visual studio 10 express is free. Thats what im using. Sorry can't comment on how it runs on lower end machines but its much nicer to use than the last one.

Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2010 Express requires that you register your evaluation copy within 30 days of installation. Once you've entered your Registration Key, the product is free. If you are not sure how to obtain your free Visual Studio 2010 Express registration key, follow these instructions.
If this is not the correct one, let me know so i can search for the Free version.

Any other bugs/enhancements that people think should go in this release? I think it would be nice to get a release out soon adding the stuff that people asked for.

For future consideration:
We've previously discussed the idea of a live-chat lobby to accompany the game's server choosing list, and dropped it due to concers over control and abuse. Lately, it's become more appealing reguardless of the side effects.
Many players observe the server lists for signs of players, and leave when no-one's playing. But if 4-6 different people are doing the same thing, play-time can be missed while they all wait for someone else to make the first move.
A Lobby would let folks haunt it while they did other work, and when they saw thier friends appear in the lobby, they could choose which server to try that day. Whether it was a lobby designed specifically for the client, or one out-sourced to IRC, the result could be a closer gathering of old and new faces.
Joining a chat-box in the forums to a lobby built into the client would further join newcomers and current players.
Many players haunt skype, others use Messengers.. But if we had a more globalized lobby, then anyone could gather reguardless of thier systems.
I've written a trial chat app here : chat.php Pretty basic at the moment but I can't use an off the shelf one as I want to integrate it with the in game browser too.
Let me know if it doesn't work on your browser. I'm using native browser functionality to make it lightweight.

Basic shout-box functionality, linked to forums for user-names, and reasonably real-time. Some of the one's i've seen can be a bit too heavy on the way they do real-time.. lagging the whole site.

Adding it to the server list sounds good to me.
Would it be possible to add it to the first screen when starting the game too? It would be nice if you could see whos playing right away.
Yes Gavin, Adding it below the web-page list of servers would probably be most effective. About 8-10 lines of it should be plenty, with a 25-50line scroll back bar.
Bazzz, A similar placement in the client would likely happen too. Not on the very first screen, but within the server-list window of it too. Putting it on display too early would make the client contact the Net right away. Those on local only systems would be delayed by the connecting attempts.
When a first-time player opens the server list, they would feel less alone, Might even ask some of the basic questions before hand.
