Dear Yusuf:
Your reply to what I thought was a complementary request is tempting but I am going to forgive you and offer you my other cheek. Slap it with caution, the next one presented won't be on my face. If you can't read between the lines, double space the post.

alright rommel.. u surprise me with ur limited intelligence every single time.. well here are a few more renders ... i would not mind posting the model if u could manage to have ur game support about 350000 quad polygons ..
I was hoping that you were attempting to donate something to the game even if your posts are in the off topic section.
In any event, my request that you submit this model for use in the game was serious. Some new models would be great and blasting BMWs would be a hoot especially with the death sound effect being a scream followed by "NOT MY BEEMER!"
Surely an intelligent fellow, such as yourself, can rip out enough detail to give us a shell that is small enough to be usable while still being unmistakably a BMW. If you need some suggestions, I have a few, but in order not to insult your intelligence, I will await your request for assistance.
If this is too complicated, or time consuming for you to accomplish in a timely manner, please post it for download as it is and offer it for use in the game. Perhaps someone else can modify it for inclusion into the game before the next release.
Oh yeah, same thing with the Mustang and any other models you have the legal right to dissiminate.
Thanks in advance for all your hard work and for making it available to us free of charge.
Sincerely,
Rommel

lol rommel u just made me laugh ..
yeah anyway what u say is quiet some idea and i did read the lines in between.. ill do my best to get the mesh density down and surely post it for this game
as for our little understanding problems, we'll leave that aside for a while
sincere regards
Yusuf

There's something happening here. What it is ain't exacltly clear.

The original artwork of the cigar smoking dragon was a 2D creation of Ben Henry.
The 3D reproduction presented as being produced by Yusuf was created by Cheong Ho Yi, a 26 yeard old graphics artist living in Maylaysia.
I found it rather strange that a Indian Hindi would assume a Chinese name and I had to learn more. Perhaps Yusuf is Cheong, I can't say at the moment but I expect to know more soon.

The image you provide is rather different from the one Yusuf is displaying Rommel.
If that is the original image that he worked from, then as the new image is a wonderful evolution of the original.
Afterall as human beings, have we not gotten to where we are by standing on the shoulders of giants? Does an image need to be designed from scratch to be a work of art, or can it be an improved version of an aging piece?

The words are not for you. The words are for Yusuf. I hope you understand why I am ignoring your questions.

modelling 3d max detailing zbrush
The dragon wasn't made using the software you use (3D Max).
From the REAL artist:
"I am very honored and grateful to have been given Ben's generous permission to recreate his 2D drawing in 3D.
Based model done by Maya, Zbrush for sculpt & texturing painting.Export texture map, normal map, cavity map and displacement map from zbrush then render with mental ray.
I separate different light passes so later can adjust when composite in Photoshop. Background & smoke was matte painting by Photoshop too."
Perhaps Yusuf will have the opportunity to speak with the REAL artist, soon. I hope so.
