You under estimate Israel's military capabilities, and the US's support of Israel. You might be right about Europe.

Take the Yanks out of the equation and you're right isreal are weak (compared to the major powers)

i dunno. i think there's a difference between driving around in billion dollar level-5 figther planes, with a few photon torpedoes etc purchased at a knockdown price from the states, and a country like iran with 80 million people, supported by the largest (and probably richest, unless youre measuring in US dollars, which they dont) country in the world by a mile.

if we are talking actual war, not cold war, with a threat to whole nations, surely it won't happen. china won't allow it.

id bet most people in iran dont much care who's jewish, who's muslim and who isnt, the same way most israelis are just normal people going about their lives. i like to imagine that in this age of iphones and information, there's a wise old rommel lurking on every internet forum, and that war propaganda isnt as pervasive as it was.

hopefully it's just a media war that most people dont take seriously. it's david cameron blaming that miliband lad for running up his credit card.

the correct answer is when either of these two things happen

1) Israel preemptive strikes (attacks Iran)
this may very well happen because:

Iran is very close to creating/manufacturing nuclear weapons and has already indicated
how they will use them.Quote Iran: 'If we ever go to war, Iran will blow Israel off the map'.

2) Iran, North Korea, Tunis, China join hands to start world war 3.

-north korea will attack south korea
-china & japan will fight over islands they both claim to own
-Iran will get stOMPED trying to cross over into Israel by the U.S.
in the process will gain a convenient door into china. =)
-Tunis will get their asses invaded by the Brits if they try anything.
-Mother Russia being an Opportunist will idly stand by watching everything taking place
looking for a better tactical opportunity in their own interests.. Alaska or China...hmm

I hope they make the right choices again..

when & If this happens the U.N. will Disperse Allied Forces & the trouble makers will not live very long or enough time to regret their mistakes.

After Coalition Forces roll over them stomping anything in their paths it will all be over in a matter of a couple months I'd say.
