In the DOS game, you could reassign/add players in a local game once you had started it.

This is useful, i.e. if you play with some friends and one comes later and wants to join the game.

This request was in the old TO-DO list of the v40 versión

You're right, it would be really handy for the hot-seat method in local mode.

I'm pretty sure it's possible, since the game accepts player changes in the
online method so cleanly. We'll just have to see if our glorious leader can slip
that in for v42.

please consider including it in the to-do list for (maybe) include it in some future release,
