Right now we have 2 mags, a small green and the heavy red. How about eliminating the green and making the Red one the small mag. Then make a slightly bigger mag the heavy mag.

I say this because the green mag is too small to do what a mag is meant to do. Which is deflect shots or rollers when on a steep clift side. The green mag does do both, but only on a very rare occasion.

So right now all the green mag is doing is essentially being an extra 100 points of life. We already have one of those, the small shield. I just think mags should be more like....hehe mags.

To be honest, neither one can be considered much defence anyway.

There are many ways to improve defencive power of shields besides
raw power-points. At the moment tho, the cost of them is about 3-4x
what they should be for thier usefullness.

However.. balance, variety, and cost effectiveness aren't really the 'none'
way. Look how long it took to get Funky's changed..

If anyone has the 2d version handy, test-lob a few bbm's off
the 2d mag's. Tell us exactly how many bbm's are repelled
before it's depleated. Them repeat it over with each of the
other shield types. With enough data like that, we could
probably redo the defences more accurately and have folks
still consider it "Default"

Mags are currently a good way to increase health even if nothing else. I find them very useful, pricey but useful. I seem to be using them frequently due to the heafty price of the other shields.
Chopper:
I really enjoy talking with folks in other countries, drinking stoli/tonic... pulling off shots that seem impossible, drinking..

Fact: CO2 = less than .04% (.00038) of the atmosphere - only a small fraction of that is man made.

I wasn't really recommending making mags stronger, just making the "hat" size slightly bigger so both mags deflect. I still feel a shot under the mags should take it out the way it does now. I just meant the top of the mag. Keep the red as is, then make one slightly larger with slightly more deflect capability. About the same difference as there is now between the green and red.

About the same difference as there is now between the green and red.

Many variables can be poked to make them worthwhile. as long as the
prices are affordable. Half-shield or full-body, stronger restance, increased
deflect, power-limit. Changing each in small ammounts can be helpfull.

Even reverse deflection. :D to suck the shots into the dirt.
