Side scrolling doesn't work anymore with V41 on my machine. I'm using a version compiled from sources for linux.

Full screen mode?

Sort of. I run the game in windowed mode at my screen resolution, without any window decorations, which results in a fullscreen mode of sorts. v40 did not have any problems with it, in v41 side scrolling stopped working.

After your suggestion, I tried whether a "real" fullscreen mode did the job. It actually worked. This kind of fullscreen is no option for me however.
