Old school games used to have a boss key. It was handy and would be a cool feature. A full screen/window picture of a spread sheet or calendar or something would be handy, especially if it muted the sound at the same time too.

Alt+tab is nice but the explosions, launches, sirens, screaming, and mooing (Apoc) can be disconcerting to people who stop by my office. I Although it looks like I am working, the sounds give me away, and the sound of carnage raises some eyebrows.

Please consider resurrecting the Boss Key. I would prefer Alt+F1 so I can hit it quick with my left hand.

If there is a more savy way to stay out of trouble, please let me know. My current Alt+tab and soda spilling scramble to power off my speakers is not cutting the mustard.

I could. I could turn off the game and do my work too...

If there was a keystroke command for mute I could do that when I alt+tab.

The point was that I want to play Scorched Earth at work and not get in trouble from people coming in and seeing me playing games. \:D/

The boss key would help me avoid that. There was one in Scorch 2d.
