already checked, doesn't work as it is now (i tried in user folder, in user/mod folder and even inside each mod's folder)

and yes, i kept thinking/forgetting too, the tank thread kinda reminded me it.

Unless Some Guy comes up with a good reason why not, I'll take a look at this after I finish the random values bit. (Been busy lately, so it's taking me forever to do it...)

Putting avatars in a USERDIR/.scorched3d/avatars directory make sense?
Should they be added to the list in the install directory? Replace them? I'm thinking the ideal choice would be to add them until it reaches the limit, then start taking the install directory ones away. (The limit was 16, but I think that may have changed)

I was getting a crash when the .scorched3d/avatars directory did not exist in Linux - fixed.
