There i a localization problem with MSFile.cpp : in my locale a double looks like 0,00 not 0.00.
I could get around this problem using
export $LC_NUMERIC=en

This is true, thanks for the info. It is already in the FAQ :)

It has been fixed (hacked around) in version 36.1 by automaticaly setting the locale in main to "C".

Are you using 36.1?

PostPosted: Sun Dec 14, 2003 4:03 am
I compiled an OSX binary; it requires a patch to fink's wxGTK sources. Everything you need is in the tarfile - there's a file called INSTRUCTIONS that will be of use.

This will only be useful to those who have the latest fink and a working X11 server.

I'll host it here until it's hosted officially at the scorched3d website.

Its really great that you guys made this. I was searching for the original on the net and this came up. That was a while ago, maybe a few years. Recently, i decided to see if it was still around, and i found that not only is it still around, it is is newly updated. Keep cool and thanks

Theres a little bug in the game, while playen in LAN multplayer. When we rotate the tank, change its level (x and y aim) and try to change weapon at the same time, the klicking sound loops for etherinty. Would be great if the sound where to be reset on the next level load or something else =)

Great game!

the ideas in the new version are great!

but the game play and action do not 'flow' as well

the view from 'shot' is less useful as it does not give the same
view of the action globally.

so unfortunately i've gone back to the older version

regards
