If the armory is down or you don't want to use import move to step 2.
A warlock WoW gear optimizer that lets you choose various available gear items and determines what combination gives the best stats.
Easily lets you try out different combinations to see what the next best upgrade is.
1) Import character from armory
If the armory is down or you don't want to use import move to step 2.
2) Mark any other item items and gems that you have (or want) by checking the use box in the item tables
Mark as many items as you have.
You will need to mark at least one item for every slot (two for finger and trinket slots).
Double clicking on the item will open the item in wowhead.
You can sort the items by score, name, etc by clicking on the column heading.
All items and weights are remembered automaticaly when you quit from one session to the next, so you don't need to re-enter them.
The buy column is exactly the same as the use column except its not saved when you quit.
3) Click recalculate at any time once you make a change to see the gear score (or to calculate the best gear).
Recalculate is the large button at the bottom of the window.
4) The best gear set is then displayed along with its score.
5) If you change anything just click recalculate to see new sets/weights.
* Fill in the weights table with the weights for the required stats.
Click on the weight you want to change to edit the number.
Targets are for stats that must reach a certain value or a DPS penalty is suffered.
e.g. The default is that the gear must have 420 hit or suffer a DPS penalty for each hit point under 420.
The default weights are taken from a deep destro build.
* Fill in the sets table with the weights for the set bonuses
Click on the tier item weight you want to change to edit the value.
The two and four set items are added together if four items from the same set are being worn.
The short name will be displayed next to the gear for each set.
If no set bonuses are added to a set then this set will not be incluced in the search (makes the search faster).
* Add user/custom scores for items whos scores are off.
Click on the user score you want to change to edit the number.
This score will now replace the calculated item score for the item (once calculate is pressed)
