    Same here.

Heh. In fact, reading the list above it seems that there are already too many administrators here.

I dont think selfish is quite accurate, but “one track mind” could fit.

He has huge post count, mostly related to …. game development and new graphics and code and so forth. he’s helped out in many areas and knows the forums well enough get in and out quickly, he probably logs on knowing exactly where he wants to look. However he doesn’t play online much. This place is probaly like his own car or his bedroom. He knows where it all is, why make the bed or clean off the desk? 😉

everyone needs to take a step back and look at it from someone elses angle sometimes.

I mean, from comments like the one Deathstryker’s posted I get the impression that gcamp is getting paid for developing this game. Really, as if there’s a deadline and paying customers and all that. But he’s working on it in his free time and there are no customers and no deadline. The game isn’t going to go away if he turns away from it for a moment. Actually, since this is an open source project this game won’t probably ever go away.

Also, as an open source project, it is supposed to be a community effort. With a community like this, having someone else manage the website should be no problem.

As long as they’re not used for two things at a time, I’d say.

F5 is generally used for screenshots. Search for SAVE_SCREEN within the keys.xml file.

    Thanks for the comments, guys.

Wow, it’s indeed similar to what I had in mind, but not quite. I knew of this function, sorry for not making that clear at the start. The “undo” key resets the angle and direction to a previous setting, which might be different from move to move. What I’m looking for is a function to set the angle to a constant value.

I realise I’m asking for this out of laziness. But then again, that’s exactly why keyboard shortcuts exist. There is no difference between me setting the angle to 45 at the start of every round by using ctrl shift +/- and setting it with a single keypress. Except that the former takes more time. What I’m asking for is a mere convenience.

Actually, having a console command for setting the angle would probably be a more flexible solution. Changed subject of the thread accordingly.

It did for me. Cool stuff.

Could it be that the check is performed on the filename provided in the mod files, not the actual name of the file?

    Why the limitation, anyway?

It’s actually called Cyrillic. It’s an alphabet of some Slavic languages. (Like Russian.)

Not sure if what I’m about to say isn’t complete nonsense, but try wxWidgets with the version suggested in COMPILING: 2.4.2. After a quick look at the wxWidgets docs it seems that in the > 2.4 releases wxNotebookSizer has become a deprecated class and is declared in “wx/sizer.h”. (This header isn’t included, and I’m pretty sure that including it will only lead to the next compile error because of incompatibilities. Just use the correct version.)

You can also turn the water off altogether. The downside is that you have to be careful with things like napalm (which doesn’t burn under water).

As the name suggests nvoglnt.dll probably has something to do with NVIDIA, OpenGL, and Windows NT so my guess is that it’s an important part of the NVIDIA proprietary driver and you have no chance of successfully running an OpenGL application on your video board without that file.

Have you tried running other OpenGL games, like the ones I mentioned?

Neverball and X-Moto. But actually there’s plenty.
