You never know when those two players might personally know each other or may even be married. Of course that doesn’t stop Pastor of Muppets and Mrs P from killing each other but sometimes you know they’re going for YOU first.
What you need is a less cool avatar and nobody will take it. I’m not sure where the original came from for mine but it’s been altered a million times and a few folks have tried to be insulting because they can’t read the tiny words. It bothers me not since I’m just in the game to play and have fun.
Now if I were here to complain… I’d say that Blame Canada server only crashes in the last couple rounds when I’m doing well. Of course, my style is nothing but bad humor so you can ignore that ‘complaint’.
Where does one find a beta if any? Are they made publicly available? Has any progress been made on the command line only (and/or binary) capabilities yet? I is just curious. I’d like to potentially give Thrax a more stable home for his server as well as giving him the needed access to update or change any files so having the server run out of its own folder would greatly simplify such a process.
Note to self: Create an ebuild for Gentoo with a “dedicated” use flag for server-only install.
Any progress with that? Porthole only showed ‘mysql’ as a potential USE flag.
In regards to the web interface, any reason I shouldn’t be able to connect from localhost? I set the port to 99, started a server, can connect and play but can’t bring up anything in FF via http://localhost:99 or http://127.0.0.1:99
