    ahh it was something simple. textures have to be powers of 2. dohhh! now i can see even a 800 poly model will work, but i think safe bet is keep under 400 so it doesnt bog anything down.

    am having issue with startmask tho. using a 256×256 only want tanks to start on the rim, so that area is white, rest is black. but when i start the map with target bots, we can be almost anywhere.

    yes! there is almost limitless possibility, one just needs to mod things into new direction than whats been already done. i had a texture looked like floor tile, and when i played with the landscape xmls/display, it looked like tiny tanks on a table top. interesting,, yep sky shows, new actions, all possible if someone has time to mod it out!
    tank or vehicle racing with drive over targets, laser/tracer light shows, night vision appearance, free turns instead of turn based looks cool too.

    i am more conservative tho and have to finish a normal mod before starting anything new,, we’ll see tho

    not sure but i think its something with # of verts or polysmy models have. < 200 verts w/ 1 material works ok, but they are very primitive looking. my fav models are all like 400-450 verts/1200 polys, 5 meshes and 3 to 5 materials. is there a limit on # of polys?

    any time goal your shooting for on release? hope everyone has a great new year! especially s3d haha. maybe thisll be the year i finish my mod, and would be super if can coincide with the new engine,,,
    will the current accessories.xml be seamless to integrate?

    haha had to do it again after another loong time. im happy i emailed my key to myself back then. coz i didnt always want to associate with forum acct. sometimes i do tho lol.
