January 22, 2008 at 12:07 am #49189What do you mean, “off a bit”? I don’t think it’s off at all. Nor are the other weapons.
January 22, 2008 at 12:52 am #49190You can exhale now peanut. You are absolutely right and may I say that I am very impressed by your mad math skilz m8!!! 😉 😛
Claiming that the DH has a kill ratio of 0.85% would seem a bit off now wouldn’t it DB? ❓ ❓ ❓
January 22, 2008 at 1:05 am #49191You are right it should say 0.845149254% JK
Total Kills 453/ Total Shots 536
=%0.85 Kill Ratiothus %0.85×536=453
or close enough with the rounding
is my math wrong??January 22, 2008 at 3:47 am #49192@irishbandit wrote:

is my math wrong??no, it should say 84,51%… (based on my definition of a percent, feel free to correct me :P)

Feel free, eh?
FREE AT LAST! FREE AT LAST! THANK GOD ALMIGHTY, WE ARE FREE AT LAST !
Surely someone knows the answer.
TIME IS UP, PENCILS DOWN !
Maybe it’s not Mathematics, maybe it’s something else.
Oh my !
Let’s see … weapons — statistics
They have weapons?
Hmmmmm, statistics eh?
Who’s sadistic? I’m not sadistic!
Probability and Statistics !
Ooooooh
It’s Voodoo Mathematics

Yeah, I’m afraid so. Now shut up and step back, this could get messy.

Probabiltiy Rule 1 – Any probability P(A) is a number between 0 and 1.
That is, 0 < P(A) < 1
Probabiltiy Rule 2 – The collection S of all possible outcomes has probability 1.
That is, P(S) = 1Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to help you help me help you to help me to help you help me laugh. 😉

Probabiltiy Rule 1 – Any probability P(A) is a number between 0 and 1.
That is, 0 < P(A) < 1From the wiki:
In mathematics, a percentage is a way of expressing a number as a fraction of 100 (per cent meaning “per hundred”). It is often denoted using the percent sign, “%”. For example, 45% (read as “fortyfive percent”) is equal to 45 / 100, or 0.45.
However, it’s unclear, whether the value shown is a probability or a percentage. I implied from the “%” character, that it’s a percentage.
January 22, 2008 at 6:25 am #49196Dang, you guys replied before I got my edit finished. 😉
If you can find an instance of P>1 it’s a percentage.
Guess?
January 22, 2008 at 2:27 pm #49197LOL This was the most fun I have had in a while.
January 22, 2008 at 8:51 pm #49198Oh, sorry, I was thinking 85%
