    Updated for all changes up to Sept 3rd.

    Be warned that this update bumps the game up another protocol version (dd). So you’ll be required to play on servers with this version only.

    EDIT: This is also now Beta 3 and not Beta 2

    Be warned that this update bumps the game up another protocol version (dg) so you’ll be required to play on servers with this version only.

    Also, I have not included the music updates with this but it still functions normally. If I get a chance, I’ll upload it as a separate package.

    beyond the modinfo and the Exe’s, the rest of the larger updated
    components should be downloadable via the game-server direct
    when they login.

    the Game music is present during all aspects of the game, from initial
    loading thru to the game-play.

    may need to look into this myself. It also is present in other mods as a
    faint background music, even for mods with other music specified in xml.

    That’s good. I don’t have to worry too much about that then.

    Doesn’t that get repetitive with only 3 songs?

    So it overlaps whatever you specify? That’s odd.

    There may be a lack of updates for a little while. The comp I have all my scorched stuff on is currently disconnected to make way for my new comp (yes, I finally got one and don’t have to rely on my 800 Mhz Celeron anymore). I may hook my slow comp back up again if Scorched isn’t given an official release by then.

    Soon, I will have a few days off from work. On these days, I plan to hook up my comp that has all the CVS crap on it, download the updates that have happened since release and post them here for people to test.

    That way more people can test the performance changes and bug fixes.

    I’ve updated the EXE’s with all changes up until the 24th. These changes include some possible improvements to FPS and a couple of bug fixes.

    You will be able to use these EXEs on the current v41 server. As always, these are for testing purposes and caution should be used when using them.

    oh dont worry.. if we get a proper gampack compression support,
    and either a working .ogg – .mp3’s
