If I try to start a game now (regular or apoc), I get:

The Scorched3d process terminated due to configuration errors.

Odd – a CVS update didn’t pick up the files, but a fresh checkout of the entire source tree did.

Argh… time to apply my patches again.

Since they “fixed” the cvs hardware and updated to the ViewVC I’ve noticed this everytime I’ve tried to update, it doesn’t finish, finishes with a error or I’m missing files.

    hmm ..very strange.

having close to the same issues..

updated the cvs and it said all successfully completed..

then scorched starts with some errors.. missings files
game started ok..then on some maps a missing tree
    file crashes the game…hhmMff! *shrug*

maybe gavins not done or working on something and
    I just downloaded it @ bad timing…atleast I hope
    thats what that is.

guess I will have to empty the scorched folder & start from
scratch *again* & see if that solves the problem like last time.

    *scratches head* 😕 ..bah! ..owell.

Note: I haven’t had any issues like that with developer CVS. At least not that I could tell. I get some strange messages about ‘File Was Lost’ after it downloads the first time, but then it redownloads and all is well. I’ve never had that happen before until the system revamp.
