    EMP missile. This woudl have a good chance of knocking out shielding and messing up any guidance systems in any tank it explodes near.

    Readout Scrambler. Thsi would be a similar weapon, excep that any tanks anywhere near where it went off will have their guns re-aimed, and their angle indicator messed up so it shows the wrong angle. This would be a great weapon to defeat poeple who keep using ballistic guidance to guarantee themsellf a direct hit.

    These two are great ideas, unfortunately they wouldnt be able to be made unless Gcamp includes them in the next version. Maybe he will.

    Here is a new set of weapons I’ve been messing around with. I call them them meteors. They explode when they hit and scatter flaming dirt piles about.

    Note if you want to full effect, extract the attached texture to your scorched3ddataaccessories directory and replace all the lines white.bmp with molten.bmp.

    Also note that there is some sort of bug with projectiles that are made using the “roller.ase” model. All weapons that use this model wind up having the same texture, regardless of which texture is defined. So because of this, if you install the optional texture, the meteors may still appear white or checkered in game. If this is the case, try restarting the game until the meteors look like magma blobs. They remain looking the same until you restart the game again. This does not refer to the fact that you can’t really see anything in the weapons panel when you select meteors. The reason for this is because the flare model (photon cannon) is used and it is transparent and hard to see.
