Indeed, we’re at LEAST headed for a national crisis such as in California, It makes a Chinese economy seem not so bad…. Those darn Chi-Com’s, always doing everything the best, man, they’re so awesome we should be like them.

    … huh, what constitution?

the economically orphaned will be the “domestic police force” doing the bidding of the “dearly-beloved leader” and the DHS, but only the tall and atheletic ones, the scrawny and sickly ones will work menial jobs picking up cans and whatever tedious tasks that machines are not yet doing. The shock troops will continue to be an employment oportunity of the elite and middle class, as they will want the glory and the money, of course.

Think about Roman empire, then put it on meth, streaming porn, and give it a Hummer H1, (USA motors brand) and you have, HEY, USA!

California has in my lifetime, set the trends that the nation followed. From the beatnikcs, to flower power, to the Mansion family, to the silicon revolution, to the yuppies, to the fradulent mismanagement and subsequent collapse of a huge corporation, to the collapse of the housing market and now to total financial collapse, California has led the way and we have followed.

California is an entitlement state. Or a welfare state. It supports its poor and Mexico’s poor. The high taxes and many of the rich people leaving to states with 0 income tax, it eventually will collapse under it’s own weight. When it does, I am sure Obama will bail them out. Then Cali will have lost it’s independence.

Fortunately, Missouri is removed from California by a few states, a large mountain range, and a vast plain. If gas prices are high enough then not too many of them will move this far out. From what I know, our state is doing okay with respect to budget, but the new Dem Gov is stepping up the entitlements. The former one slashed even Medicaid and childrens programs to balance the budget but people hated him for it so much he decided not even to run for reelection.

I know Rommel hates it when I only blame one side. But I couldn’t help myself.

This bill passed through the House with the help of 8 Republicans. Next is the Senate.

Listen to what he says. Electricity prices will skyrocket. He says it as clear as a bell. Who will this hurt? Everyone except the rich. It will hurt the poor the most. Especially those that rent in apartments that include utilities. Their rents will be sure to go up.
