    Could we get the ability to use spheremapping on tanks? I’ve been wanting to make my Octank ‘shiny’, but never was able to due to S3D’s inability to spheremap textures onto tanks.

    If it already can spheremap tanks, it’s not working for me. I have the Octank2’s body texture set to spheremap, but it never shows up spheremapped in-game.

    As far as I’m concerned, the ability to do reflections is the only thing left to do to really make this game shine. (pun intended)

    Yes, no more trying to get square textures to work right on round objects.

    This and transparent textures for projectiles. Real ice projectiles anyone?

    Well, in MilkShape, the spheremap causes the texture to appear is if it’s being reflected off of the object. I think you got it right the first time, CB. 😛 Oh, can’t forget the transparent textures for tanks too! I’ve wanted to give my Attack Drone a kind of ‘shielded’ look (like a ‘nav shield’ type of thing), but can’t ’cause S3D doesn’t support it. 😥
