Question 2: What’s the maximum shieldhurtfactor for projectiles?
Question 3: What’s the max. hurtamount for weapons?
Question 4: Why scorched textures are 96×96 textures, is it possible to use 128×128/256×256/512×512/1024×1024 textures for them?
Question 5: Is it possible to turn parachutes temporary of when the thank is hit by sulfuric acid?
Question 6: sometimes when I use: < ...text...>RANGE(#,#) scorched 3d crashes… is it because I have to use distribution, or is it because range is not possible with some < ...text...># (you know what I am talking about…)

Question 1: Does it cause problems to give tanks 500 health?

No, shouldnt be a problem. You will want to scale weapon damage though.

Question 2: What’s the maximum shieldhurtfactor for projectiles?

I have tested this up to 9000, though there seems to be a small delay. I would say to use anything under 1000.

Question 3: What’s the max. hurtamount for weapons?

Same advice as above, keep it under 1000.

Question 4: Why scorched textures are 96×96 textures, is it possible to use 128×128/256×256/512×512/1024×1024 textures for them?

Scorched safely uses textures with a square of 2. Common sizes: 32×32 64×64 256×256 512×512 1024×1024. It will struggle loading a 2048 x 2048, and may even crash.

Question 5: Is it possible to turn parachutes temporary of when the thank is hit by sulfuric acid?

No, this is a small unintended bug I have yet to address. I will pop it in mantis soon.

Question 6: sometimes when I use: RANGE(#,#) scorched 3d crashes… is it because I have to use distribution, or is it because range is not possible with some # (you know what I am talking about…)

Scorched engine uses fixed point maths. Some items you simply have to have a solid exact number on. Range is not possible on certain operations, such as the tag. The best way to find out whether you can apply a range or not is to test it. I have found most projectile properties are not “Rangeable” and most explosion and timing properties are.

    Thank you very much!!!!! 😀
about the “scorch” textures I wrote per accident “scorched” maybe that confused you… srry #-o
btw: your new signature is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    edit: another question: do you know what’s the maximum explosion size (max. exp. size = 300? – 400? – 500? – 600? – 700? – 800? – 900? – 1000? – 1100? – …? – infinite? – infinite, but keep it below 1000?)
