I just tried it, worked as planned.

To be clear: Edit your keys .xml (Found in Documents and Settings%USERNAME%.scorched3d in windows, ~/.scorched3d/ in Linux)

Open it with a plain ol’ text editor (notepad, vi, etc), and add the section I posted above – indentation and spelling count, and it is case sensitive.

F5 is generally used for screenshots. Search for SAVE_SCREEN within the keys.xml file.

As long as they’re not used for two things at a time, I’d say.

has anyone tried these shortcuts on the the new version (v41.1)?

if so, do the old instructions still apply?

Its a valid question and better to bring an old one to the fore than create a new one that may end up being a clone.

Forums provide information, its good to see people actually searching for an answer first instead of just creating yet another clone thread becuase they CBA!

The one important one I found is shift + Z for clear HUD, people seem to keep losing their HUD and so restart the game, I did it by mistake while trying to chat the other day and meant to post it!

If ya heads up display disappears, try that, hopefully will pop it back up
