Seems as if there have been many posts on scorched earth clones lately.

So I have decided to create a topic which can reduce all the new topics in the offtopics.

    Rules…

-Always check to see if others have posted the same game before you
-Give as much information as you can about the game you are posting

    That is all!
    Thank You!

Huh? Now wait a minute. Even if I abide by those rules, it wouldn’t change the topic creation habits. That’s because every clone I post is a different one (I know because I add this info to the wiki as soon as I get it). I also always post a link to the game. And it’s not my fault for posting so many of them. I blame it on Scorched 3D for influencing developers to flood us with clones.

Besides, this is offtopic. I doubt many people care. I’m just posting all of these for the fun of it because it helps keep things interesting on the forums when there’s a slow day for posts.

Don’t worry: If it gets too obsessive, I’ll ban myself. 8)

I haven’t tried it but it’s been listed in the wiki for awhile.

I like the pictures of the booth babes on that site – but the game hasn’t been updated since 2001 and doesn’t look nearly as good as Scorched3d.

    FREEWARE! FREEWARE! FREEWARE!

Shelled! is a fun 3d artillery game where you play as turtle tanks!

    I really like the idea!

There are 8 weapon’s all with their unique properties.

Sound isn’t all that great but still nice.

Music is relaxing and fits in with the game nicely.

And it isn’t like other artillery games either.

It is not a turn-based but real time!

The aiming system is very unique to.

But what I thought the moving system was the coolest thing.

You can fly up at anytime as long as your rockets are fully charged.

They charge up on thier own so no need to buy fuel and all.

The game isn’t all that polished however.

There are a few minor glitches.

    But it is relatively new.

    Freak’s Score…

    7/10

    SHAREWARE! SHAREWARE! SHAREWARE!

Here is a game I will always love along with scorched 3d of coarse.

Pocket Tanks is a very very very very fun game!

2d but feels 3d in a strange way.

There are tons and tons of weapons to choose from and they all are very very nice looking.

It says 30 but there are tons of expansion packs which can get your weapon arsenal up into the 100’s easily!

    The sfx are just perfect.

The music is so relaxing and sometimes I just play the game to listen to it!

The gameplay is the big big thing in it.

I know this may sound stupid but you don’t kill the other tank.

You simply try to get the most points by hitting the tank with w/e weapon you use.

    Trust me…

This game is just perfect and I see absolutly no flaws at all!

    Download it now!

The Shareware version is completely playable!

There is only a few feature’s disabled and the number of weapons is only 15.

NO TIME LIMIT IN THE SHAREWARE VERSION HOWEVER!!!!!!!

    Freak’s Score…

    10/10

    SHAREWARE! SHAREWARE! SHAREWARE!

Here is another game for you…

    Atomic Cannon!

Works with pocket pc, smartphone, mac and windows!

In this game you have tons and tons of options much like scorched 3d.

You are given an arsenal of over 85 weapons each with thier awsome unique properties!

Sound is nothing I have ever experienced in any other artillery game.

The sound is just so crystal clear and music is outstanding as well!

The visuals are great and make the game feel 3d just like pocket tanks!

    The effects are so cool!

Smoke trails make the weapons look awsome!

    Download it now!

There is a time limit however which I absolutely hate…

But still you definitly need to try it out!

    Freak’s score…

    10/10
