    I just checked my server and I noticed I am having a lot of mod leeching… after 7 or 8 years of running the server, these leechings add up to a lot of unnecessary data. I guess it is possible to have msyql purge this unnecessary data but I don’t know what it would be.

    what would be the command to feed to mysql to remove this unnecessary data and decrease the size of the database?

    It should be:

    delete FROM

    WHERE LIKE ‘Leech%’;
    (would be an idea to do: SELECT FROM
    WHERE LIKE ‘Leech%’; first though, so you can see what will be deleted.

    This should delete all the leeches.

    If I remember right though, there are multiple tables and the name (in this case LeechX) isn’t used in them all, some use the ID, so to be thorough, you might wanna select all the leeches and note their IDs 😈

    Can’t imagine the db will be that big though, given modern storage capabilities and MySQLs teeny sizes.

    Good luck mate.

    Hey Panther,

    Just wanted to check in with you.

    Is Panther mod unavailable? When I try to join the game crashes.

    If you need some help with the updating, I can take a look at it.

    edit** Raptor mod kicks me as well. 🙁 Purging my local mod copies to see if its my end.

    Nvm, I deleted my locals and was able to load in just fine. My copies must have become out of synch at some point 🙂

    Cheers,

    Armor
