This is a very interesting site.

Are these just all random formations?

If you consider US military and environment experiments to be random, then yes. 😉

    Interesting-
    1)We would’nt need “Jenny Craig”,”Weight Watchers”,”Atkins Diet” on Mars & our muscle mass/bone structure may suffer from a lack of exertion/gravity 😉
    http://mistupid.com/astronomy/weight.htm

2)Just think of all the Birthday parties/presents you would of missed out on-Us ol’ farts;would’nt be so old 😆
    http://mistupid.com/astronomy/ageonplanets.htm

3)Imagine how much your taxes would be for a martian year 😯 Adversely, your income would seem to increase for the year (from what we are accustomed to)-
and President Bush woulda been in office for 5349 days;or, 14.65 Earth years-Oh no= 🙄
    http://www.quadibloc.com/science/cal0502.htm

4)Weather report from Mars: Pastor of Muppets will like this one. . . . Over all, a typical day on mars & no tornados in sight 😆
    http://astro.sci.uop.edu/~harlow/weather/mars.html

5)If you don’t like it outdoors(unless you have a life support suit on) and living in a bubble seems like the ultimate existence for you;then this is where you would want to live. No need to worry about your “Carbon Footprint” here 😉

When i was obducted ,the aliens told me they planted those fossiles there to make the monkeys think they evolved from humans. But some of the smarter monkeys understood they were special and knew they were put on mars by a greater being, wich was wrong it were just those probing pesky little aliens, a real pain in the ass if you ask me.

Lets face it the monkeys fucked up mars and now humans are given the chance to do better on earth, this alien experiment will tell us who is the better ape. But for that we have to work together and keep an eye on those primates, if the aliens want to they will let them take over. Dont let those facist aliens or socialist monkeys indoctrinate your poor children.

Revolt before they do! EARTH FOR HUMANS, DEATH TO THE OTHER PRIMATES
AND ALIENS. This is the time people ,we have to come together and show them we wont give our rights to them, we are superior to them. They dont surround us, WE surround us.IM MAD AS HELL AND I`M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANY FURTHER TO BIZARRO WORLD.

I don’t know if there are aliens on Mars or not, but you can be sure that NASA is deffinitely not telling us everything they are up to.

BTW, did anyone notice that the Vatican officially says that it is not a problem for a Catholic to believe in extra terrestrials. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,355400,00.html

No, it appears that NASA is not. What I don’t understand is why?

The face on mars seen here http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2001/ast24may_1.htm is supposedly a trick of shadow and light. When they went back and took another shot in 2001, they used a filter. And by definition the filter helps in some areas and removes detail in others.

But forget the face. This to me, was a more striking image http://www.marsanomalyresearch.com/evidence-reports/2008/134/rover-statue-or-person.htm taken by the Mars Rover “Spirit”.

Why couldn’t the rover move the necessary 200 meters and get a closer look?

NASA has come out and officially said there use to be a lot of liquid water on Mars. There is still ice on mars. That is all they are saying.

I am aware of what the Vatican officially said, but why is that a surprise?

A lot of people consider what the church says as myth. I’m not going to quote the examples here, we all heard them before. But consider the alternative we are supposed to accept.

The Big Bang. That is a something from nothing theory. Err, i think our scientists went a little too far back for their own good.

Dark matter. Something you cannot see or detect, but it’s there.

It is? I thought that was God?

Someone once said “One of the hardest things to overcome is the illusion of knowledge” They are basing “Dark Matter” on Newtons theory. Well maybe his theory needs to be tweaked for the very large, much like it had to be for the very small. Instead they produce a mythical matter. I think everyone is nuts.

I take it that you refer to the question of how the materials that provided the possibility of such an event came to be? That problem is the same for every theory though. If God made everything, who made God?

Dark matter is a hypothesis, not a scientific fact. If it is a correct model or not remains to be seen.

    Indeed, Bigbear.

Cosmology interests me greatly. I just get annoyed when they mix what they know, or have ample evidence of, with things they have completely no clue about.

How life began. In some boiling soup arose life. That life in many many years has evolved into what we see all around us. The problem is they have to make 2 major leaps of which they have ZERO evidence of. The first being spontaneous generation. The second is macro evolution. That is like me saying I made it from New York to Spain without a boat or a plane. Now I am not saying God did it. All I am saying is……I don’t know. Or, we don’t have enough information.

Same goes for Dark Matter. If you want to compare it to the dark ages, “Dark” meaning little is known, then that’s fine. Dark matter, something we don’t know is holding the universe together. I am all for that. But lets not give it an absolute label as matter we cannot detect or see. That is ridiculous. It may not be matter at all.

Just like those that are very religious have God, Scientists have their own Gods. They are Darwin and Newton. They are unfailable Gods. Their theories are not to be questioned. Instead, every attempt possible is to be made to verify their theories. Thus the illusion of knowledge.

I am sure there are those believe that certain scientific theories are infallable. However, the whole point of science that it’s all a best bet. A theory is only valid until proven wrong or expanded on to more accurately describe the world/universe. There no such thing as a perfect theory. If we stumbled onto one we would never know it anyways, as we are restricted by our point of reference.

Yes BB, I do realize what you are saying to be true. That does seem to be the way things are done. Perhaps this and perhaps that.

Well, thank you for maintaining your composure through my wild rantings. I think i’ve calmed down now 🙂
