Arg… forgot to change the framework path before I uploaded.
I’ve got a new one to upload but you could try running these commands on scorched3dc if you want to try it.
install_name_tool -change /Library/Frameworks/FreeType.framework/Versions/2.3/FreeType @executable_path/../Frameworks/FreeType.framework/Versions/2.3/FreeType scorched3dc
install_name_tool -change /Library/Frameworks/UnixImageIO.framework/Versions/B/UnixImageIO @executable_path/../Frameworks/UnixImageIO.framework/Versions/B/UnixImageIO scorched3dc
If that works otool -L scorched3d should give
otool -L scorched3dc

No crashing on startup – looks good so far. Will need to do some additional testing.January 3, 2010 at 4:12 pm #57699
Hi Everyone :
Being Christmas time we can expect an avalanche
of new Mac users most anytime.
Has anyone that is known to have this issue
been recruited to test the new release?
If not, they may able to provide an excellent
test bed for use in the final report. Both of
the players reporting this problem seem like
nice fellows that would be willing to help.
If this problem should be found to still exist,
perhaps adding scroll bars to the setup window
would work about as well as anything.
Scroll bars, being universally understood and
easily used, should allow all of the setup page
to be contained on the first screen as originally

Thanks for the notice – I didn’t even know there was a new Intel version posted until I saw your post. I will give it a try.

Hi Fab4 :
It’s good to see you are still following the thread. Thank you for the speedy reply and the offer to help out with the final testing. It’s comforting to know that there are still some experienced Mac users posting in a timely fashion.
Good luck with the test.
