    Only Non-damaged resign at turn start, injured players resign at turn end.

    In nearly 2 years of hosting servers with the same basic settings, no-one
    has had trouble playing with the current resign timings.
    If you want them to resign at the end of the turn, Hurt them..
    If you think the cash rewards are too generous and that a player
    shouldn’t have 90+ batts, then it’s the finances that need re-balance.

    I think it is not valid for MCB game due to its peculiarities – only one type of weapons being used and usually great amount of batts. Its easy to recover health and perform resign. Though economy doesnt need rebalancing.

    Usual MCB game supposes you fight until the end. Using batts, and performing more shots, even if they might be absolutely ‘new’ shots not the kind you began with.

    Resign was valid only if one couldn’t reach for sure (e.g. against strong wind long distance). Though still one chance for opponent to kill.

    But such option enables people to resign only in case they see they are not sure they kill in 1 shot while opponent is sure to do.

    It is very common for MCB game when you hit but do not kill, sometimes even more then one time in row – due to difficult landscape/weather conditions (in any game with wide spectre of weapons, such things hardly happen to high skill players)
    So its obvious – you adjust your shot a bit and kill. While hit player sees his shot was not close and 1-shot killing for him is hardly possible. So he uses batts and resigns and no kill is made, though opponent could have full right for that kill – a perfect shot…

    It ruins the spirit of true MCB, imho.

    I think mcb should be made into a missil mod, you know, mirvs, sandhogs, nukes and any other weapons you can think of. the last time I checked it had baby missile and missile. which was in 39.1 and only 1 weapon has been added since then?! Now THAT I find really pathetic.

    and before mcb lover goes calling me an ‘ass’ (can we say that?) or something, plz play apoc, and then read this again and THEN you may insult me if you wish to do so.

    Errr mcb was never a real mod to begin with doom. It’s originally a set of rules that’s sometimes used on main and beginners by players. To facilitate a server where ppl could play this type of “rules game” exclusively the “mod” was created. The whole point of having it is that these rules are set in stone. I mostly make fun of Vitos for calling ppl noobs all the time (making him the biggest noob of all afaIc), but this time I have to concede he has a point and I hope you liked being taken to school!!!!!1111 😛

    MCB got it’s name from “Missiles, Chutes, and Batteries only”. Do I need to elaborate?

    range ban? on who.
    I have only 1 person banned on a range due to thier dialup nature.
    pam/raven/roflmao, decided by all dev’s/admin’s.
