Huhh my idea is generated from my problem with laser weapons I make a mod, and I want to make my laser beam custom shaped, but I cant, because that is not customizeable only colors, this is not enough for me, if its possible pls make this or a new weapon called laser like what has a customizeable shape, like projectiles, or etc.

Unfortunately I don’t think that this is possible yet.

The only thing I can think of that may work is a weapon similar to those of scorch wars.

The only problem is that they destroy the ground as well…

Ohh and another one thing if you make a new weapon maybe you can make it customizable to that, the laser is cut trough everything, but sometimes we dont need to cut trough everything, with our laser like weapon, only fire straight, and add a cutomized beam for it. Is it difficult request?

You import the s3m files into scorched. Start scorched3d click on change game settings> mods> import choose s3m to import then go to your user folder .scorched3d/mods/ and the folder and files should be there.

    Right??

Berem, relax.. 😀 sounds a bit frantic, like trying to open a box of
serial to get the prize at the bottom..

Mods Packed in S3M format, are special.
they aren’t a zip, or rar, or lha, or anything that windows will open directly.

They are an Import file. Once you have the S3M in a near-by folder,
Open up your Scorched Game, and look into main Menu’s option for
    > Change Game Settings
the last Tab on that page is labled [Mods].

There, is where you activate the Import / Export functions for Scorched.
Press Import, and browse to the S3M file you have ready.
It will then be extracted into a folder under the
    C:Documents and Settings.scorched3dmods directories.

While it’s not as simple as just Visiting the Server, it should let you get
the mod inserted into your scorched.

In Swars, and many other mods, we have already worked a lot on
creating different forms of laser weapons. Beams that Pulse in bursts,
Beams that disolve the dirt along with the tank, even Beams that
Damage Shields while leaving the tank intact.

The Shape of the beams and Pulses can be changed in Length, Thickness,
and Color. But not in actual texture or shape. To simulate a Spheroid
or Rugby-ball shape, i would show 2-3 layers of laser-pulse at different
lengths and thickness to make them appear as one mass in a specific
    shape.

Adding other effects to the Laserbeam/Pulse is a function of setting it
as a Repeated Multi-weapon, so that several effects happen in one step.
