    Simplest way?

    Join any ‘Approved’ Mod-Server.

It will auto-download the mod directly to you.

If the mod you wish to enjoy isn’t currently being hosted, Tell me..

You can manually put mod folders into ~/.scorched3d/mods

Use command-shift-G or Terminal.app to open invisible folders.

Theres also an import mod button in the mods tab of the settings page (from the launcher application).

I had been using the S3M packs for 2 versions back, but few players
understood what to do with then.
The current mods in the archives are Zipped in folder form. If S3M is
now more easily supported and understood, then I will start hosting
them in the intended internal format for those that wish, and for the
    next builds.
