Ok here is the issue: Game will not start. sometimes it will give me the option to pick my tank. It will not give me an error, though it says it has one. i tried turning off all options in troubleshooting. When I picked to run in failsafe mode, it did nothing.

    here are my specs:

    325 intel celeron D processor
256 mb pc2700 ddr sdram mem
    windows xp service pack 2
    intel 82845 G/GL/GE/PE/GV graphics controller

    running at 32 bit

thanks to someone who can help me in advance. I remember playing this game in 2D, ten years ago and i loved it..

I have a feeling your problem is with your graphics card as other people seem to be having problems with their Intel cards. Have you updated your video card drivers? It may fix problems. Other than that I don’t know what it could be.

i went to properties of the intel graphics card, then i went to driver under that. It has an option to check for an update for a driver card. when i do that, it says there is no update for that card.

Frist make sure you have the latest version of Scorched3D which is version 37.2 as there have been fixes for this card in there.

I have just checked on a test machine and it seems to work fine for me. For the latest intel drivers try here :-

Ok, I’ve found a machine that exhibits the problem. I’ll see what I can do.

I was having trouble getting it to run on FC2. Until I finally updated the driver for my graphic card. Haven’t gotten a chance to play too much with it (really miss my good old kenny ball and grim leaper)…

If I get more time, i will install it on XP as well. By the way, windows NT 5.1 is XP. The same idea as your CPU, internally they don’t call it pentium 4, instead, they call it i586, i686 etc.

Strangely enough the current development version works fine.
So perhaps you should keep an eye here :-
