    is there a way to control the number of explosion animations?

    Ex_ i want to create a gravity shifter, my explosion needs to suck inward, bt i keep getting random explosion animation numbers.

    I notice that the amount of explosion animations goes up as you increase the size tag.

    would there also be a way to hold an explosion animation in place, so it does not rise or expand?

    this would be really helpful in creating a few point weapons, like a gravity circle or shockwaves.

    i could create a numerous amounts of explosions, using one image chain just increasing te size of the explosion, it would scale with size and correlate with number of explosion counts.

    Or is this feature already there?

    Actually, sounds like something that could be useful.

    The Black-hole made from actualy shrinking explosions would look nicer ;D
    And several flattened disk types of explosions for shock-waves or Seismic Charges would definately rock.

    Well, in our existing primatives, we have a class labled type=’WeaponAnimation’

    In it’s collection of existing animations, there is the large sky-laser you’ve seen
    for death-actions called ExplosionLaserBeamRenderer,
    and there’s one called ExplosionRingRenderer that
    is the flattened blast ring around the tank. I also use it in the Swars Boomers
    when they bounce and pop.

    If that Explosion-Ring could be made customizable like regular explosions, it
    would work well for such eftects as the bomb used in Star Wars : Attack of
    the Clones.. Where Jango-Fett splits the asteroids with Siesmic Charges.

    Or instead of the array of plasma-waves in Merge that combine to create
    the Plasma-Blast effect.

    A Disc-Shaped Explosion.. Damaging only in an expanding ring, not above
    or below that ‘Plain”.

    yes, i have wished many times that i could change that explosion effects and color, perhaps even turn it at an angle amd texture it 🙂

    Thrax how can I create a grenade like effect. I have one now where they explode with weaponaimedover, but I really want them to be directional

    I have included a picture of what I would like to do.

    My grenade is fired, as it descends and impacts it bounces then explodes. But I want the fragments to fly foreward, not in a 360 spread. Do I used weapon aimed over with a redirect? I think I did that once and it didnt work. Also I have noticed the count tag will mix up numbers everynow and then.

    OH I got it! I can leap frog the fragments with a velocity change! Will have to implement this soon!

    Does anyone else dream about S3D? lol
