Thrax what do you mean by disc explosions, it is very intriguing to
me, could you elaborate a bit?
Well, in our existing primatives, we have a class labled type=’WeaponAnimation’
In it’s collection of existing animations, there is the large sky-laser you’ve seen
for death-actions called ExplosionLaserBeamRenderer,
and there’s one called ExplosionRingRenderer that
is the flattened blast ring around the tank. I also use it in the Swars Boomers
when they bounce and pop.
If that Explosion-Ring could be made customizable like regular explosions, it
would work well for such eftects as the bomb used in Star Wars : Attack of
the Clones.. Where Jango-Fett splits the asteroids with Siesmic Charges. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIuzj_dICmw
Or instead of the array of plasma-waves in Merge that combine to create
the Plasma-Blast effect.
A Disc-Shaped Explosion.. Damaging only in an expanding ring, not above
or below that ‘Plain”.
Thrax how can I create a grenade like effect. I have one now where they explode with weaponaimedover, but I really want them to be directional
I have included a picture of what I would like to do.
My grenade is fired, as it descends and impacts it bounces then explodes. But I want the fragments to fly foreward, not in a 360 spread. Do I used weapon aimed over with a redirect? I think I did that once and it didnt work. Also I have noticed the count tag will mix up numbers everynow and then.
