    Has anyone done anything else on the base models?

    I still haven’t made a destoryed model for my castle but each castle has its own colored flag. I hope it is view able in game as I haven’t tested it yet because of the CVS outage. As far as I know, right now models that have life point don’t need a destoryed/burnt model because they disappear when HP are gone.

    I was thinking of posting the same question, J. 😉

    I haven’t done much (if anything) more than what I posted here… I keep meaning to get back to it. Perhaps over the weekend. I still need to fix a few flaws in the Whitehouse, as I recall. (The burnt one…. I’m really not that happy with how it came out, but I may have to live with it)

    but @ cb & jdog I hear yah this post seemed to have died out
    & not many besides us have posted any models so I guess
    there wont be too great of a base selection to choose from.

    I probably will need some help there, I have a save to make a burnt model but haven’t started it yet. I just don’t know where to start and I don’t really know what a ruined castle looks like.

    I need to make sure the zip file on here has the newest version of the castle too. The one with extra windows and smaller roofs.

    Question: Is the burnt model currently working? Mine aren’t showing the burnt model either when the target is “injured” or when “dead”.

    burnt models work only after being napalmed wich
    is why it’s called the *burnt* version of it.

    when you hit landscape placement models with explosives
    they just disapear.. I do wish there was a way to disable that
    wich I asked for a while back particularly for bridge models
    that connect from one island to another.

    try hiting your model with napalm & that should do the trick.

    I don’t think burnt model support is included for targets just yet. You can only do that when using the ‘model’ object type. Gav did say he plans on adding burnt model support for targets at some point though.

    in it until you just said that.. lol

    burnt models for targets only work when you hit them with napalm weapons and then you get a burnt model for the rest of the time the target is alive. (that is, if you don’t have your model explode in some manner, then it will still be burnt in death)

    Good info – thanks for the reply. Experimentation and code lookups will follow.
    I’ll let you know what I come up with. 😉

    Related question: What object types are there other than “target” and “model” (if any)? (if you’re not sure, no worries – I can check the source and find out when I have a minute ;))
